Box-builder and services provider ASI Solutions has signed a deal to offer document validation and management software via its resellers.

NSW-based ASI Solutions has become a master distributor for US software vendor Top Image Systems (TiS) across Australia and New Zealand. Australian resellers for that portfolio are also sought, the company said.

Ken Lowe, MD at ASI Solutions, said the agreement would help ASI increase its business in growth sectors such as finance, transport and health.

'We believe TiS presents a powerful solution for enterprise sites, with the online delivery of information from both structured and unstructured paper and electronic documents in close to realtime,' Lowe said.

ASI Solutions would help support TiS integrators and deployment partners as part of the deal, the company said.

TiS aims to provide automated data capture products that integrate data from multiple sources and of different types, including invoices, shipping bills and purchase orders. Extracted data can be exported to document content management, ERP or CRM applications, the company said.

The software was recently chosen by the Australian Department of Defence. A CSC Australia project will deploy TiS software across that Department's financial system with a view to automatically processing some 600,000 invoices a year, ASI Solutions said.
