Telstra has begun selling an LTE-compatible USB dongle alongside the launch of its 4G network this week. It plans to launch an LTE smartphone from HTC and tablet early next year.
The USB dongle is compatible with Telstra's LTE network over the 1800 Mhz as well as 2600 MHz spectrum, should the carrier use the band in future. It will fall back to dual carrier HSPA outside of 4G coverage areas.
