The finalists in the state & local government and federal government categories of this year's iTnews Benchmark Awards demonstrated why 'digital disruption' is such a big issue for the nation's policy-makers.

Despite the constraints of a notoriously slow-moving public sector, these six organisations were able to make the case for change and reap strong ROI as a result.
