Two steal $1m in games consoles

Police have questioned two men over the theft of games consoles and a truck worth a total of almost $1 million from a freight yard in Sydney.

Police have questioned two men over the theft of games consoles and a truck worth a total of almost $1 million from a freight yard in Sydney suburb Alexandria.


The consoles and the Volvo prime mover were taken at about 2 am this morning and were discovered by police at a Werombi property at about 9am.

A 46-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Camden Police Station for questioning by Redfern detectives.

A 50-year-old Fairfield man has also been arrested and questioned over the theft.

The State Crime Command’s Property Crime Squad are assisting with the investigation.
