Over fifty percent of our readers believe identity theft is a big issue and requires further industry discussion, according to the results of SC Magazine’s Online Reader Survey.


Over fifty percent of SC Magazine's readers believe identity theft is an issue that needs further discussion.

The SC Reader Survey results revealed some interesting insights into the mind's of readers and their feelings towards IT security.

Here are some interesting points taken from the survey: 30+ percent said in the next 12 months ‘email management and wireless LAN security’ will be security tools their company will invest in.

Furthermore, 51 percent said they think ‘Identity theft’ is an issue that the industry needs to discuss more.

The top 3 IT security problems businesses faced in the last year include a lack of security awareness by users followed by a lack of budget and effectively addressing vulnerabilities

Meanwhile, SC would like to announce that the lucky winner of the Apple iPhone is Mr J Shaw from Queensland. Congratulations Mr Shaw!
