The group - home to the likes of Supercheap Auto, Macpac and BCF - said the project will run over the next year.

Digital Nation has asked a Super Retail Group spokesperson for additional comment.

Costs for the new payroll and HRIM system will come out of a $29 million bucket of funding that also covers operating expenses associated with a Victorian distribution centre.

The Victorian distribution centre, based in Truganina in Melbourne's outer west, was first announced in the full year 2023 results, designed to replace two older distribution centres.

In a recent presentation [pdf], the group said that internal outfit of the new centre is underway.

Migration to the new centre will take place in managed stages throughout FY26.
