Carriage services provider Sonet has re-installed routers in Pipe's DC2 data centre in Brisbane.

Sonet's original provider of space in DC2 was Pegasus/E3 but Sonet lost that space after pulling its racks out of a different Pegasus data centre.
Sonet chief Curtis Bayne told iTnews he had re-secured rack space in DC2 courtesy of Sanity Technology – one of several providers to offer Sonet assistance.
"Sanity Technology has gone above and beyond to assist us by providing us space in the otherwise full Pipe DC2," Bayne said.
"Sanity has enabled us to restore services that are the cornerstone of the services we provide to our customers."
Bayne said he had received multiple other offers of support from the industry.
"My direct competitors offered me everything from co-location to emergency microwave connectivity," Bayne said
"For example, Sean Finn from OzServers offered us emergency co-location. Even when he learned that we were moving to our own facility, he offered to personally assist us with the migration - with full knowledge that he would receive no commercial benefit from the arrangement."
