Pentagon to spend $23 billion on infosec by 2018

Drafted budget outlined.

The Pentagon has drafted a cyber security budget outline that aims to spend close to $23 billion through 2018.


According to documents obtained by Bloomberg News, the allowance proposed for the fiscal year that begins on Oct. 1 has increased 18 percent from this year to $4.65 billion.

The spending plan would jump in 2015 to $4.72 billion, decrease the next two years to $4.61 billion in 2016 and $4.45 billion in 2017, and once again rise in 2018 to $4.53 billion.
