Telstra has said it has made no decision to sell its advertising and search company Sensis.

The statement, made to the Australian Stock Exchange today, came after speculation in the media.

Telstra said that its board "continuously monitors and reviews the company's businesses".

"However, the Telstra board has taken no decision to sell Sensis," it stated.
