Senior executives in finance, consulting and the public sector have seen their wages rise in the last six months, but senior IT execs have been dealt a drop of seven per cent. Project managers have received a lesser blow, with six per cent shaved off their take-home pay.
The research, from job site Experteer, found that other IT roles, such as project managers, business unit leaders and managers had also seen their wages drop.
The company attributed the decrease to increased competition in the IT sector.
