The company said it had "reinvigorated" an agreement with Optus Wholesale to make the changes.

Internode also said it was cutting $10 a month from the price of its Easy Naked plan, which offered a 70 GB quota for $59.95.

Naked services deliver ADSL2+ broadband over a phone line with no dial-tone.

Similar services are available from competitors iiNet, Optus and Dodo. Last month, incumbent carrier Telstra quietly launched a trial of a naked service.
