Digital specialist bank, Heartland Bank has added Medina Cicak to its executive team as chief commercial officer.
According to the bank, Cicak has been tasked with leading the newly created commercial business unit.
The digital bank said the new commercial business unit will support Heartland Bank’s retail, reverse mortgage and livestock finance teams to achieve their growth ambitions.
Cicak said via LinkedIn, “Heartland has brought its product distribution teams together to create a new commercial business unit.
“I’m excited to support the team in achieving our growth ambitions and helping more Australians with their banking needs.”
In the official bank statement, Cicak added she was “looking forward to delivering the clear strategy to provide finance solutions that meet the unique needs of older Australians and livestock producers and graziers.”
In the new role, Cicak will report to Heartland Bank CEO, Michelle Winzer.
Speaking on the appointment Winzer said, “As we continue to work through bringing our businesses together I am confident that, under Medina’s leadership, we will see a consistent focus with synergy across our distribution teams and a targeted approach to growth. “
“It is our goal to help more Australians with their banking needs, within the specialist areas in which we operate in.”
Prior to joining Heartland Bank Cicak worked at RACQ Bank for over five years plus has held various senior roles at Suncorp Bank, food brand Oporto and Yum! Brands.
Back in July, the bank also added Vaughan Dixon to team, who took on the chief technology and operations officer position.
In this role, the company stated that Dixon’s “extensive experience and leadership across technology and operations will contribute to advancing Heartland Bank’s technology and operational growth ambitions.”
