
Users will also be able to open a text box and type in a comment on a particular result, which will be made available to the user community.
All changes will remain when the same searches are carried out by a signed-in user, said Google in a blog posting.
"We've always said that the best search engine is the one that understands what the individual user wants," said Juergen Galler, Google's director of product management.
"SearchWiki really puts that in action: this is an even deeper level of customisation than we've offered before, because people know best what search results they're looking for."
