Customers are connected to nurses, psychologists and other health care professionals.

The service is claimed to receive over one million calls per year.

GlobalConnect Australia will provide ongoing network design and voice-monitoring support for McKesson’s Avaya-based IT telephony infrastructure.

GlobalConnect specialises in IP telephony and contact centre integration for medium and large enterprises.

McKesson Asia-Pacific was founded in 1995 with the vision of utilising telephone and information technology to improve public access to healthcare.
