Drive Yello appoints Asheesh Chacko as co-CEO

Australian last mile delivery provider Drive Yello has appointed Asheesh Chacko as co-CEO to work alongside founder and other co-CEO Steve Fanale.

Drive Yello was founded in Sydney in 2015 and connects businesses to drivers and couriers, allowing businesses to manage their own fleet or book a crowdsourced courier using the Yello platform.

Chacko moves into the role from his previous position as COO at contactless ordering and payments company me&u. Chacko has held prior CFO and COO roles at LiteracyPlanet, and online restaurant reservation business Dimmi.

According to Drive Yello, Chacko will be responsible for day-to-day business operations, while Fanale directs his focus to business expansion and service innovation.

“Our brand’s mission has always been to serve retailers and their customers that are looking for a customisable delivery solution they can trust,” said Fanale.

“Bringing Asheesh into the fold as co-CEO means that we will be able to double down on business expansion and expand our footprint locally and abroad, while also delivering the service that customers know and love.”

Chacko’s appointment follows Drive Yello’s increasing demand, now servicing over 300 new clients year on year, with 2500 new stores and over 10,000 couriers.
