Great Place to Work has named Cisco as Australia’s best workplace for the 3rd year running in the over 1000 employee category, followed by Salesforce, Atlassian, REA Group and Hilton.

Great Place to Work ASEAN and ANZ managing director, Evelyn Kwek said, “The Great Place to Work philosophy and methodology is one based on building a high-trust workplace culture that can be a great workplace for all. This means that companies should go beyond perks and the benefits when thinking of building a strong employer brand. It is about building quality relationships and employees having a consistently positive workplace experience.”
With over 10,000 companies across 97 countries applying to the Great Place to Work Certification every year, Cisco has claimed the top spot in Australia with 93 percent of employees in agreement that overall, it is a great working environment.

A key focus of Cisco is inclusivity, including supporting employees through hybrid work, flexibility, wellbeing, culture and giving back.
One Cisco initiative that stands out is Time2Give leave, where employees are provided with 10 days of paid leave to volunteer in organisations that they are passionate about.

Salesforce took second place, with 91 percent of employees saying it’s a great place to work.
