Richard Buchanan left his post at Cisco as professional services manager to become strategic business director at WildPackets.
"As strategic business director, I am looking forward to expanding our market penetration and channel operation in Europe to include new business segments for the company," said Buchanan.
The company also promoted Riaz Kahn to director of sales. It is expected that the two will improve European channel sales. WildPackets' customers include Cisco, Microsoft and Siemens.
