Cisco boss scores a promotion

Walsh, who has been MD for three and half years, has 22 years experience in the IT industry.


Cisco Systems' Aussie MD Terry Walsh has been promoted to the role of vice president for the networker's Canadian operation.

He was promoted to MD in 1999 from his previous role managing Cisco's service provider business in Australia. Prior to that, he was Northern Australia regional manager. He will relocate to Canada in by August this year, the company said.
