Apple has added three MacBooks and three MacBook Pros to its notebook range, all powered by the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors..

Apple updates MacBook and MacBook Pro lines
The entry-level MacBook sports a 2.1GHz processor, while all three MacBook Pros get a significant speed hike with 2.4GHz, 2.5GHz and 2.6GHz processors.

The MacBooks retain their 13.3in glossy widescreen 1,280 x 800 displays. Their more expensive siblings come with a choice of 15.4in or 17in LCD or LED backlit widescreen displays.

The MacBook Pros have been endowed with multi-touch functionality, offering iPhone-like interaction via the notebook's touchpad. Proud owners will be able to pinch, rotate and swipe as they scroll through their photos.
