Rod Tucker

Professor Rod Tucker is director of the Institute for a Broadband-Enabled Society, and the Centre for Energy-Efficient Telecommunications at the University of Melbourne. He has held positions at the University of Queensland, the University of California, Berkeley, Cornell University, Plessey Research, AT&T Bell Laboratories, Hewlett Packard Laboratories and Agilent Technologies. In 1997 he was awarded the Australia Prize for his contributions to telecommunications.
