Fortinet: Storm Worm botnet used to mount phishing attacks on Barclays, Halifax banks
The Fortinet Global Security Research team has detected two phishing attacks on UK major banks that were mounted using the Storm Worm botnet, said to be the first attack on the financial sector by Storm's huge network of zombie computers.

The Month: Twice as safe at Barclays
Barclays has announced that it will trial two-factor authentication devices for online customers. A calculator-sized card reader will generate a unique 12-digit authentication code when a bank card is inserted. The bank expects to deploy the devices throughout 2007.
