Zero-Knowledge spins out enterprise privacy unit

Zero-Knowledge Systems Friday announced that it has spun out its enterprise privacy services unit into a new company called Synomos.

Synomos will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Zero-Knowledge Systems and provide enterprise compliance and data governance solutions.


Austin Hill, a co-founder and executive at Zero-Knowledge Systems, will serve as CEO and president of the new company. Synomos also appointed Michael Trubatch, former director of worldwide sales operations for Business Layers, as executive vice president for sales and customer solutions.
