Watchguard loses partner with Synergy collapse

By

Awaits further developments.

One of the many companies shocked to hear about Synergy Plus going into voluntary administration last week was security specialists Watchguard

The beleaguered integrator became a significant partner of Watchguard with the acquisition of Leading Consulting and just this week was named as an ‘expert partner’ for a new technology business for the security company.

Watchguard regional director Scott Robinson said “it’s very disappointing to hear if a partner’s having trouble”.

Robinson added that he had hope that the company would survive its current misfortunes.

“Obviously it’s very early days and we hope they [Synergy Plus] get some management to sort the situation out.”

“We’ve seen businesses go into administration before and survive.”

Synergy Plus' shares remain in a trading halt.
