Veritas Australia's general manager for Australia and New Zealand Mark Handley has resigned his position after four-and-a-half years with the company.

Handley--who left Veritas last Friday, 4 July--stayed mum on the details but claimed he left on “good terms” with the vendor. “Everything's fine,” he said.

Speaking to iTnews, Peter Murray, managing director at Veritas Australia, confirmed the news, saying that the company would soon look at an “internal” replacement for Handley. If not, it would commence a search outside the company, he said.

It is rumoured that Handley also took “two Veritas sales managers with him”. Murray flatly denied that this was the case.

Handley was formerly channel manager at the storage software provider.
