Gaming giant Ubisoft was left red faced last week when gamers discovered a confidential file detailing new a range of new titles.

The 2GB RAR file, which was found on the developer's publicly accessible FTP server, contained material detailing forthcoming games.

The file contained videos, artwork and screen shots from a number of as yet unreleased titles.

Ubisoft has now been forced to announce forthcoming titles Assassin's Creed, Far Cry 2, Far Cry (Sony PSP), Far Cry (Nintendo Wii), Lost, Naruto (Microsoft Xbox 360), Open Season, Prince of Persia 4, Rainbow 6: Vegas, Rocky (PSP), Splinter Cell, Conviction, Surf's Up, Star Wars (PSP), Shaun White Snowboarding, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles GBA.

The file has been removed and Ubisoft issued a statement saying that the company is "clearly displeased that confidential information from Ubisoft has been distributed on the internet. We are still investigating the events that led to this information leak."

Ubisoft uses the ubi.com FTP archive to distribute official trailers and demos to its fanbase.
