ASX-listed Tyro Payments has appointed Emma Burke as its new chief financial officer as Prav Pala heads elsewhere.

Tryo announced that Pala is leaving the role after close to ten years for a “private Australian-based company”[pdf].
Plans for the change include Pala finishing up at Tyro on 15 November 2024 following a handover with Burke who will start with Tyro in late October.
Burke will be joining from property group, Stockland where she currently acts as deputy chief financial officer.
Tyro CEO and managing director Jon Davey said, “I would like to thank Prav for his commitment to Tyro over the past decade, which predates our listing on the ASX in 2019.
“He has been a valued member of the executive team and leader of our finance function. We wish him every success in his future endeavours,” Davey said.
Davey also said he is “pleased to welcome Emma to Tyro.”
“She is a seasoned leader and will bring some fantastic commercial experience and fresh thinking to our business.”
