Aussie coupon start-up swallowed.

Aussie web start-up Tjoos.com was acquired overnight by US firm Internet Brands for an undisclosed sum.

Tjoos (pronounced ‘choose') is a website devoted to discount coupons. The company that bought it also owns various coupon and bargain websites.

"We are very focused on discount shopping and deal discovery," said Bob Brisco, CEO of Internet Brands.

"We believe the market will continue to expand quickly, and we plan to bring a considerable amount of innovation to [our] sites."
