Sophos expands endpoint security

The launch of Sophos Endpoint 10 allows the company to integrate patch management, web filtering and full-disk encryption into the suite.

According to the company, the patch assessment function identifies, prioritises and scans for critical threat-related security patches in Microsoft applications and for vendors such as Adobe, Apple, Citrix, Microsoft and Skype.

The web filtering facility protects users from malicious sites with no additional software or infrastructure required and local scanning. It also includes full-disk encryption for workstations.
