Taps GFG Alliance's head of IT.

SA Water is under new cyber security leadership as Kim Valois exits the utility after nearly two years.

SA Water cyber leadership changes hands

Valois joined SA Water as chief information security officer in May 2023 during a restructuring of the agency’s technology operations.

To replace her, the agency has appointed Neil Bray as a senior manager of cyber security and resilience.

Adelaide-based Bray joins SA Water from industrial conglomerate GFG Alliance where he was head of IT.

Bray was also previously head of technology for Adelaide Airport and a cyber security manager at Cochlear.

An SA Water spokesperson confirmed the appointment, saying that “Neil’s expertise in developing cyber security strategies, aligning IT solutions with business goals and promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation will be invaluable as we continue to enhance our cyber resilience.”
