The event will focus on combating data theft and will feature words of wisdom from industry experts and help from a slew of vendors.

The free, online conference, which runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST, (1 a.m to 9 am AEST) will have the look and feel of a live event without attendees having to leave their PCs.

Attendees will have the chance to visit live sessions moderated by SC Magazine editorial staff and to visit vendor booths on the virtual expo floor. Visitors to these booths can communicate with the vendors via instant messenger and can download product information at the click of a mouse.

Featured session speakers include Brian Huseman, chief of staff for the Federal Trade Commission, and Dave Cullinane, CISO of eBay. Huseman will discuss what enforcement actions are underway to stem the tide of data theft and which aid in compliance.

Plus, expo attendees can earn CPE credits.
