A coalition of business associations working to implement the National Strategy to Secure Cyberspace plans to launch its website and release recommendations on Thursday.

The coalition, now called the National Cyber Security Partnership (NCSP), is led by the Business Software Alliance, the Information Technology Association of America, TechNet, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The group co-sponsored the National Cyber Security Summit in December with the Department of Homeland Security.

At that summit, five task forces tackled a variety of security issues, including user awareness, cybersecurity early warning, and technical standards. Two of the task forces are scheduled to release their initial findings and recommendations at a news conference Thursday.

At the news conference, NCSP also will announce the launch of its web site, www.cyberpartnership.org.
