IT trade association Intellect today launched an online wiki designed to give professionals in the national security and resilience space a forum to share information and best practice.

Securipedia is an open platform for collaboration between government, private sector, academia and the voluntary sector, and aims to mimic the success of similar schemes in the US, according to Intellect programme manager Joel Grundy.

"Security and resilience is a very fragmented community made up of lots of different stakeholders," he said.

"Information sharing and collaboration has not been designed from the ground up, so we thought we could come up with something for the whole community."

The wiki will cover areas including policy, research and projects, although it will grow dynamically over time according to the needs of its members, said Grundy.
