Hospitality fintech me&u appoints global CFO

Hospitality fintech scale-up me&u has appointed Natalie Housson as global chief financial officer.

Housson joins me&u after a year a half at Moneytech Group where she served as global CFO and held an interim role as chief risk officer. Before Moneytech, Housson was CFO at lending company Plenti, and has held leadership positions at Commonwealth Bank, PayPal and eBay.

“It’s an exciting time for me&u who have achieved rapid growth and are now serving 70 per cent of Australia’s top pub groups, while launching in new overseas markets. I am excited about the opportunity we have to plan and execute our expansion into the US and UK,” said Housson.

In a LinkedIn post announcing the move Housson said, “I love that the me&u team are being a force for good for hospitality – helping the global hospitality industry recover and thrive – whilst spearheading a digital evolution as the leader in at-table ordering and payment.

“To top this all off, I could not be more delighted to be partnering with the powerhouse that is Katrina Barry, who has recently started as Global CEO to drive this rocketship, as well as legendary founder Stevan Premutico, who is taking me&u around the world! Let’s go!”

Housson said that me&u has transformed the hospitality experience for both the customer and operator by making orders and payments smarter.

“me&u is building a better future for hospitality, to inspire extraordinary memories for me and for you,” she said.

The company has also recently appointed two sales leaders to their US team, Brian Duncan as VP of Sales and Eric Seymour as head of business development.

We've expanded over 200 per cent since the start of 2021 and bolstering out the team with their leadership abilities will help us take me&u global.

Duncan said he is looking to revolutionise and enhance venue operations and customer experiences and Seymore is looking to strengthen and build the hospitality industry.
