Pakistani President Ali Zardari has said that hackers who cause death by ‘cyber terrorism' should be executed.

An ordinance published by the state-run news agency APP said: “Whoever commits the offence of cyber terrorism and causes death of any person shall be punishable with death or imprisonment for life.”

International hackers will also be subject to the law whether they commit the crime from within the country's borders or on foreign soil.

The ordinance listed several definitions of a ‘terroristic act' including stealing or copying, or attempting to steal or copy, classified information necessary to manufacture any form of chemical, biological or nuclear weapon.
