E-commerce marketplace Groupon has integrated a new platform aimed at optimising its pricing and distribution processes to create a better customer experience.

Groupon embedded SiteMinder's channel manager solution to its global operations to simplify the user journey plus introduced new offerings for hoteliers and customers.
The partnership between Groupon and SiteMinder is said to reduce friction in interactions with hoteliers as it aids in creating better deals.
Its expected this will give customers greater access to a higher range of properties and destinations, within the booking process.
