Promises easier move to Salesforce.

Dell on Wednesday agreed to buy a little-known US company Boomi that offered a suite of on-demand cloud integration products.

Dell to buy SaaS integrator

According to Dell, Boomi's Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) integration platform facilitates data transfers between in-house and cloud-based applications.

The company currently sold integration packages that cost between $550 per month for small businesses to $5,500 per month for enterprises.

It claimed its AtomSphere technology could connect any combination of SaaS, cloud and on-premise applications without the need to install integration software or appliances.

SaaS platforms it provides integration tools for include Salesforce.com, NetSuite, Teleo, Quickbooks and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.

The value of the deal was not disclosed.
