Buzz takes on Web giants
Thailand-based software company Buzz Technologies said this week that it intends to launch a product that will take it head-to-head with Microsoft's Windows Live.

The company's launches include Buzz Web Browser, which features storage plug-ins and an instant messaging service allowing users to watch videos and television and listen to and share music.

Buzz plans to take on MSN, Yahoo, AOL and Skype with its new instant messaging service.

Sutida Suwunnavid, chairman of Buzz, said: "We are confident that we have the tools to tackle the giants of the Internet."

Established in Asia and expanded to the US, Buzz offers services including VoIP and access to search engines.
