A thief in the United Arab Emirates made a poor choice when he decided to use a picture from the internet to create a fake ID.

The salesman from Jordan created the ID to scoop a £12,500 cash advance that had been unclaimed for three months at the exchange bureau where his brother worked.

Unfortunately, although he knew the name of the person who was supposed to collect the money, the image he chose from the internet was that of Brad Pitt.

When questioned about the picture the salesman said that he didn't know who it was.
