Two fibre optic cable reel drums being used by Telstra for its Aura network rollout. The purple cables will run the majority of the distance, while the blue cables will service network off-ramps.

On top of running between Australia's major cities, the network will have offramps into major regional hubs.

A demonstration of the cables being used by Telstra for the Aura network, developed in partnership with Prysmian Group. It's expected that these cables will remain reliable for the network for between 20 and 30 years.
