CSIRO this morning launched its Museum Robot, a machine that lets school kids virtually tour the National Museum of Australia via high-speed broadband and telepresence technology.
The trial is funded by DBCDE and CSIRO. If successful, CSIRO plans to extend the technology to business, health, social services and mining applications.
