Software defined networking is built into Windows Server 2012 R2, enabling the management of multiple VLANs, and migration across disparate subnetworks and with gateway appliances from Huawei, F5 and Iron Networks coming up. However Dual IPv4/IPv6 addressing doesn't appear to be supported yet. VMs now offer remote desktop capabilities in full, for VDI, with the new Hyper-V.
