Spotlight on Industrial Spotlight on Industrial

At a time when advances in computing and technology are reshaping both the society and the global economy we live in, it’s never been more important to keep track of the developments and trends that influence the future.

And while phenomena like the fourth industrial revolution, the rise of artificial intelligence and mass automation are all upon us, innovation is still really down to the people that strive for improvements in what they do – irrespective of the difficulty of the challenge.

Each year, the iTnews Benchmark Awards celebrate and showcase excellence in technology leadership across Australian business and government, and nowhere are advances more dynamic than in the industrial sector.

As a comparatively small nation now in the throes of transformations across manufacturing, energy, transport and agribusiness, those who propel progress in the industrial sector through technology will carry the nation’s prosperity on their wave. This year saw the calibre of nominations in the iTnews Benchmark Awards raise the bar to a new high, with a particularly strong showing from smaller and mid-sized enterprise.

The winners will be revealed at the Benchmark Awards ceremony in KPMG’s new Sydney office in on March 7th. Who will the finalists be?
