Review: Gordano Messaging Suite

Gordano Messaging Suite is a complete mail server, with integrated anti-virus, anti-spam, and content filtering. As a mail server, it offers a cost-effective alternative to Microsoft Exchange and integrates tightly with Outlook in the same way that Exchange does. There are many additional features, such as support for dial-up collection of email from your ISP by POP3. It also has Extended Turn (ETRN) support for dial-up to extend SMTP should you need to use it. Client machines can be supported via POP3, IMAP, or a webmail interface.

Review: Gordano Messaging Suite

The Gordano Message Suite is not an anti-virus solution per se, it is a complete web-based messaging system with email, instant messaging, calendar feature and message filtering. The whole lot is managed from a central web console which is clean and consistent, with the exception of a Windows utility to add users to the database.

Review: Gordano Messaging Suite

Gordano is a company that has made the messaging arena its own. Its NTMail product was a revolution when it was first launched in 1994, and it was recently re-branded and overhauled to become Gordano Messaging Suite (GMS).

Installation is simple and straightforward, and Gordano has also ensured that the product is suitable for all major operating systems. Once installed, navigation is easy: the product is logically structured with well-laid out GUIs. Both configuration and management are carried out via a web-based interface.
