Brett Poole, search product manager, Yahoo!7 said of the announcement that the internet was becoming more community-oriented, with users wanting greater access to trusted information.

Yahoo!7 has also launched a beta version of Yahoo!7 Answers, a free service where people can ask questions and get answers from real people on any topic. The technology builds on Yahoo’s search functionality.
