The deal follows Telcoinabox’s recent announcement that it had renewed a wholesale reseller agreement with Telstra, worth around $60 million.

Telcoinabox’s latest acquision is worth $500,000 and includes the buy-out of Aussiedial’s Internet services company and National Telephone Networks name.
Damian Kay, managing director of Telcoinabox said this is the first of a number of acquisitions in the pipeline.

“We have completed a period of consolidation, streamlining our billing system across all our franchises and our network providers and we are now concentrating on our next phase of development and that is to expand and upgrade our infrastructure through acquisition,” he said.

Telcoinabox has recently opened operations in the UK to service one of its largest service providers, said Kay.

“Telcoinabox provisions 100 franchisees which sell fixed wire, mobile and data services to business and residential customers throughout Australia,” he said.

According to Kay, Aussiedial’s online shop AussiePCShop will still be owned by Aussiedial.
