Andrew Day, CEO at search company Sensis, has resigned to take up a position at a European-based company.
Day's resignation will be effective on 31 December, according to a Telstra statement. "Telstra has commenced the process of recruiting a new chief executive officer for Sensis," it stated.
Day plans to take up the role of CEO at World Directories Company.
Bruce Akhurst, chairman at Sensis, said that although the company was sad to see Day depart, the business was in a strong position.
"Telstra is absolutely committed to the Sensis growth strategy without any change of direction, and we will continue to strongly support the high-performing Sensis leadership team and Sensis staff," Akhurst said.
