Panasonic unveils world's largest plasma TV
Panasonic is displaying what it claims is the world's largest plasma television. The monster set is 103in wide (over eight feet) and weighs nearly a quarter of a ton.

Only one is available in the UK at the moment, and is currently on display in the window of the John Lewis store on Oxford Street.

"Each television is very much an individual purchase," said a John Lewis spokesman. "The stand is fitted for each customer and this usually involves a home visit to assess the space it will be going into before delivery."

The set costs £50,000 ($125,00) 0excluding delivery and set up costs which range from £2,500 to £5,000 ($6250 to $12,500).

John Lewis said that it will sell the sets as long as the demand is there.
