Oracle has agreed to acquire LogicalApps, a provider of automated governance, risk and compliance (GRC) tools.

LogicalApps offers automated application controls in access, setup and transaction monitoring.

The software giant said it will integrate LogicalApps' product portfolio of control management offerings into its existing suite of GRC applications.

According to Oracle, LogicalApps' technology enforces segregation of duties in business applications, contains fraud prevention controls and provides evidence of a proper control environment.

The deal is subject to customary conditions and is expected to close next month. Financial details were not disclosed.
