Shared services provider NSW Businesslink is developing a client management system that will be underpinned by Oracle's CRM on-demand platform.

NSW Businesslink eyes Oracle CRM on-demand

Chief executive Albert Olley said the system - which is being developed for an undisclosed agency serviced by Businesslink - is "due to be deployed later this year".

Olley wished not to identify the agency that commissioned the work.

Businesslink covers five agencies within the Department of Family and Community Services, and others such as Juvenile Justice.

Olley said that Businesslink's plans for CRM on-demand are currently limited to the specific agency project.

"There are no plans for further deployment at this stage," he said.

"Any future deployment would be aligned to the product meeting client business needs and outcomes."

Businesslink has been touted by Oracle as a CRM on-demand customer since late last year; however, little was known about how widely the shared services firm planned to roll out the software.

HarbourMSP is hosting Oracle's CRM service from Global Switch's Sydney data centre.

Oracle has signed NBN Co, the Victorian Department of Human Services, Westpac, Suncorp and AJ Lucas as customers in the time the service has been available.
