SC Magazine Australia re-launches.

Haymarket Media, publisher of iTnews, has announced the relaunch of SC Magazine Australia.

New magazine for IT security professionals

The new site has been pitched as a forum where the IT security community can come together, stay abreast of news and voice their opinions.

The site has been completely reworked by the Haymarket team with a new user interface. It will feature breaking news from both the iTnews team, the SC Magazine international network and the magazine's newly-installed editor, Darren Pauli.

It will also feature reviews and blogs to feed in opinion and research from information security personalities from around the world.

SC Magazine Australia has also opened an anonymous tip line for those wishing to promote information security on the public radar.

Your news team at iTnews will be working side-by-side with SC Magazine to ensure both communities are served with the most up-to-date, balanced and insightful news for IT professionals.

Information security is an exciting business, and Australia is fortunate to have some great industry talent.

SC Magazine is a place where the industry can come together, stay abreast and discuss news, and vent steam.

Our new site has been completely reworked. Everything has a new look and it’s now easier to find the news that matters to you.

Breaking news streams down the homepage page as it happens, and is spread across new sections and topics.

If you’ve missed the start of something big, turn to our new image carousel which catches the big stories and continued coverage.

Conferences and coverage stories will get their own topic sections that give readers a single view into the news that matters to them.

In the Spotlight contains the choice cuts, including select stories, analysis, features and blogs. These are a break away from the rush pace of news, and are a place where you can spend time to digest security information.

In Reviews, you’ll find a run-down on the latest hardware, software and services. It’s essential reading for anyone about to splurge on security.

We’re getting a new blog section too. Here you’ll see opinion and research from information security personalities from around the world.

And of course we have comments open for all of our articles. Get registered and jump in the ring for some robust debate.

Or see our Twitter feeds on the homepage from some of the industry’s most respected security experts in Australia and abroad.

We also have an anonymous tip line. If you have news that needs to be outed, tell us. You’ll be helping to get information security on the public radar.

SC looks forward to bringing you the best news and analysis from Australia and the world and we hope to see you soon!
